Welcome to the South Jersey RC Society!

The South Jersey RC Society is a chartered club (#686) of the Academy of Model Aeronautics. The range of models our members fly is quite broad, extending from small electric plastic/foam models to giant-scale models (with engines big enough to power a motorcycle). The skill level of our members is as broad as the models we fly. We have every skill level from pure novice to competition level aerobatic pilots.

We welcome, everything from airplanes and helicopters to ducted fan or turbine jets (if it can fly, we like it). We fly at Buck's ("Woodruff") Airport just north of Bridgeton, NJ. We hold club meetings once a month on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm. (See the calendar on this website for actual dates).

If you are new to the hobby, we encourage you to stop by the flying field or to come to one of our monthly meetings. Every Wednesday evening (weather permitting) we have trainer aircraft and instructor pilots available at the flying field. We can get you up in a "joint flying session" with an instructor to get a taste of RC flying. You do not need to own any equipment to stop by.

We encourage prospective members, who are AMA members, to fly as guests at our field, as long as they are accompanied by a current club member.
